Recent transfer speculation, as covered by Vital Chelsea, has linked our Brazilian midfielder-cum-forward, Willian with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The grapevine has inferred that Willian might be linking up with our former boss, Jose Mourinho, at Old Trafford.

However, Willian, who was the star of the show at Huddersfield, in out 3-1 win on Tuesday night, has assured the Chelsea support that he is going nowhere.

Lurking in the pages of the local media vehicle, the Evening Standard, are words to that effect, with Willian quoted as having remarked,

“I am always happy at Chelsea. I really like this club a lot with my heart.

“The fans can be calm [about him leaving]. I am a Chelsea player and I am very pleased with the way I have been playing in recent weeks.

“When I play I always try to do my best. I try to help the team to play well, to score goals and make assists. Against Huddersfield I did that with my team-mates.”

But how does the Vital Chelsea fraternity feel about Willian declaring his intent to remain with us?

  • Very soon, we shall run out of fingers to count the number of high profile regrettable decisions we took. Every time we expect a great signing, the media and the pundits start singing the tune of replacement. Why not addition? I am yet to see any tangible player leaving MU because we ?gave? them Matic. Neither have I heard of Aguero or Yaya Toure leaving MC because they have been replaced by Jesus and Sane. Everyone is hanging in and fighting for positions. Willian is one of the best players we have acquired lately. And he is very loyal to us. We should encourage him to regain his form and start producing again. I plead with our management to please, not sell our good players but add to them like our competitors do. I remember I made the same plea before we sold Matic. My plea fell on deaf hears. Lay us do the right thing please.
