Now our article Click Here, covered the possibility that the French side were looking at Willian as a player who could fill in for their injured world-class striker, Neymar.
Now, how much truth there was in the rumour, with the transfer window now closed, remains to be seen.
However, it appears that a move might not be out of the question in the near future.
The news source, Sport Witness, is reporting that the Brazilian could be set to fall foul of the ruling whereby Chelsea only over those players who are 30 and over, a years’ contract.

Now whether a compromise can be made remains to be seen.
But, then again, the question has to be asked as to whether Willian deserves a contract of more than one year.
Although naturally gifted, the 30-year-old, on too many occasions flatters to deceive and drifts in and out of games.
Could this summer be the ideal opportunity to move the player on, even more so with Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi waiting in the wings?
Your views on the above subject matter, in our comment facility, beneath this article, would be most welcome.
