Young Duo Leave Chelsea, One Permanently

As another working day comes to a close, news has broken of two more deals relating to youngsters at our club.

The first relates to a parting of the ways whilst the second relates to another loan deal.

First up is Mukhtar Ali, a 19-year-old midfielder who has left the club

After going out on loan to the Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem for the second half of last season, the Dutch club have secured the services of the player on a permanent basis.

Discussing the move, an official statement from the club reads,

‘We thank Mukhtar for his service and wish him well for the future.”

As for the youngster going out on loan, that is Ike Ugbo, who has joined the Championship side Barnsley, on a season long loan spell.

Ugbo is an England youth international and in Chelsea`s FA Youth Cup Final triumph last season, scored 10 times in the competition.

Here at Vital Chelsea we wish Ike Ugbo all the best on his loan spell and thank Mukhtar Ali for his contribution to the Chelsea cause.
