The last decent performance Chelsea could be credited was in the Champions League, when a spirited display saw the side emerge late 2-1 victors, away to Atletico Madrid.

Since then, we`ve been beaten, comprehensively, by Manchester City at Stamford Bridge and also by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

This Wednesday we return to the Champions League stage when we welcome Roma to West London.

Hopefully, the ‘proper` Chelsea will take to the field of play and get a win that, with three games to go, should see us almost home and dry when it comes to qualifying for the knockout stages.

However, before we can fully concentrate on the Champions League fixture this Wednesday, we need to have the final word on the Palace defeat by declaring who the Vital Chelsea membership voted for as their man-of-the-match.

Without further ado, your man-of-the-match against Crystal Palace, with 74% of the vote was Cesc Fabregas.

Thank you for your participation.

Our latest poll asks for your opinion on whether, now he`s back in training, Antonio Conte will start with Alavaro Morata in the fixture against Roma, on Wednesday night.

Please use your vote wisely!

  • For me its zaha.During manunited liverpool game, told some friends why is it against chelsea zaha is coming back.If i see cahill on the pitch, probably loose this match.sincerely am not really pained cos’ zaha just ran riot like i predicted.I was expecting a rudiger who is also atlethic to man mark zaha but alas! he dint play.the coach underestimated palace.William oh!william am sick and tired of you been on the pitch with no contribution.cahil?lawd have mercy.

  • It was very difficult calling any of our players the man of the match. The performance was too terrible. We should still have beaten Crystal Palace even without Kante.
