Saturday and the defeat inflicted by Crystal Palace was, we hope, a mere blip on our journey that will end in us being crowned Premier League Champions 2016 / 2017.
It was the kind of game that, although we took the lead, you just knew something was amiss when Crystal Palace netted twice in two minutes and put up an Alamo style resistance, was always going to end in tears.
Thankfully, Chelsea have the chance to put that right this Wednesday evening and get back to winning ways when they face Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
But before we concentrate fully on that fixture, we need to seek closure on our defeat at the hands of Palace by announcing who you, the Vital Chelsea membership, voted for as your man-of-the-match.
As it turned out we had the clearest winner we`ve had for many a game.
