As we experience as short lull in football action on the pitch, we`ve continued in our Christmas quest to find Chelsea`s best starting XI, in our opinions. Prior to the Boxing Day game we announced Marcos Alonso as our first choice in terms of wing backs. Following the game we asked who your second pick in that position would be. It came down to three choices,

⦁ Davide Zappacosta
⦁ Kenedy
⦁ Victor Moses

In the first round of voting, Zappacosta came in front of Victor Moses. However, when it came down to actually choosing between the two it was?…drum roll??Victor Moses who came out on top with 65% of the votes cast. The Nigerian has made the right wingback position his own since returning to the club at the start of last season.

With only two positions up for grabs, the two remaining players were fighting for a place on the bench. It was the Davide Zappacosta who got the nod for a spot of bench warming. He gained 25% of the votes. The Italian has shown some positive signs in his short time at Chelsea, it`s unfair to call him a bench warmer. He`s very much a solid squad player with a great future at Chelsea.

Coming in fourth place was Kenedy who polled 10%. Like Zapps, the young Brazilian has shown some good form in the games he`s played, but he`s still young and with much to learn, but he also has the potential to be a great footballer for CFC.

With the wing backs sorted, we turn our attention to the most crucial part of the team. The attacking midfielders. They create the chances for the striker to convert. Your chance to choose your first attacking midfielder is our current front page poll. Please cast your vote wisely.
