Thankfully, with the third international break of the season now completed, we can get back to the small matter of the Premier League this weekend.
For Chelsea, a difficult trip to the Etihad Stadium beckons with Manchester City, the reigning Premier League champions being the opposition.
But, although on paper it looks a huge ask for Frank Lampard’s young side to add a victory to their recent run of 6 consecutive Premier League wins, Frank’s young side will emerge from the dressing room, on Saturday tea-time, knowing their splendid achievements so far this season sees them sitting above Manchester City in the current league table.
Hopefully, Frank will have a full-strength squad, barring Antonio Rudiger, for this fixture with everybody having returned from international duty without any injuries.
As is the norm, we’re giving you the opportunity to second-guess the starting eleven the gaffer will go for, simply drop your predicted starting XI’s into the comment facility beneath this article.
Will, anybody get it spot on?
