Time for some more poll housekeeping. Going back a while when Eden Hazard was half decent (I`m joking!!), we asked whether he would still be at Chelsea when next season begins.
We know there`s a good player in there, but he`s currently experiencing one of his more temperamental moments in time. He`s not alone in that, and ‘one man cannot maketh a team`. The Belgian is still worth keeping despite his recent failings.
Hazard will still have two years remaining on his contract after this one has finished. Based on that alone, the expectation should be that he`ll still be a Chelsea player after this fractious season. We shall have to wait and see what offers come in.
Above all else, if he goes, Chelsea’s ridiculous notion of selling to Premier League rivals must end. Sell him by all means, if it`s for the good of the club, but sell him abroad.
When it came down to the results of the poll, it was a simple Yes! or No! question. 61% of the votes cast voted Yes! believing the Belgian will be pulling on a Chelsea shirt next season. That`s sounds about right. It`s just been media speculation that he may leave, purely based on his ability as a footballer. Of course Madrid, or anyone else are likely to want him.
The remaining 39% took the opposite view believing he`ll be gone. Like all things Chelsea, we won`t know until it actually happens?.watch this space.
