Those of you who are regular visitors to our ‘Forum’ may be aware that my youngest daughter has permanently hijacked my old pseudonym of Juvenile D.
You may also be aware that, by the very nature of her posts, she was travelling to Birmingham yesterday, for an audition for one of Simon Cowell’s money making shows – Britain’s Got Talent.
Well we’re both pleased to report that all went well.
After overcoming her nerves, she gave a great performance cracking a few jokes, doing the occasional impression and telling a few comical stories.
So good in fact that those recording her act for future viewing back at HQ, commended her on her excellent audition.
Unfortunately, unlike the actual televised shows you do not get to know on the day, instead we await a phone call, sometime between now and February, for the official ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ verdict.
In the meantime we`d both like to thank you all for the encouragement you`ve given her in recent weeks with your suggestions.
Meanwhile, I’d just like to say that watching her do ‘her thing’ was just as nerve-wracking as watching Chelsea!
I’d also add that at the tender age of twelve she didn’t half make her old pa proud!
