It`s taken the English tabloid press twenty-four hours to latch onto a news item that originally kicked off in France.
Apparently, in an effort to build a side capable of challenging the best in Europe, Paris St Germain (PSG) are looking at trying to lure John Terry away from London.
The French club managed by Carlo Ancelotti; believes that the current unrest surrounding JT and the fact that they can match his current salary may see England`s first choice centre back make a bolt through the channel tunnel to the relative safety of Paris.
Now whilst we can quite possibly see the break up of the old-guard coming at Stamford Bridge, I`d be very surprised if Roberto Di Matteo sanctioned any such move and we`re also of the opinion that the JT we know faces up to adversity and doesn`t look for the nearest bolt-hole to scamper down!
