Another Young Chelsea Forward Is Attracting Attention From A Bundesliga Club

|

Tammy Abraham remains something of an enigma.

The 21-year-old, currently on loan at Aston Villa, has shown for a second time, the previous being at Bristol City, that he can score prolifically in the Championship.

But, between those two seasons mentioned above, the young striker spent a disappointing spell, in the Premier League, with Swansea City, where, although he made his England debut, he didn’t get into double figures as far as goals are concerned.

Which might ask some to suggest that Tammy is a Championship striker at best and isn’t good enough for the Premier League.

But, it’s not a point I’d concur with, the youngster is still physically growing and learning his trade and is, destined for the top.

I’m not the only one to hold those views though as it is being reported by the news source, the footballinsider247, that the Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig, are eyeing up a £30 million bid to take the English forward to Germany, as a replacement for Timo Werner, who is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Personally, I’d be surprised if Chelsea were to sell the player, in eighteen months’ time I’ve no doubt that Tammy will be leading the Chelsea forward line and will be a regular member of the England squad, he just has that knack of being in the right place that all world class strikers possess and that will be enough to give him the edge over others.
