Last week, despite being Chelsea`s record signing, there was only a place on the bench for Alvaro Morata.

Indeed, Morata was only introduced around the hour mark after Chelsea had embarrassingly gone in at half-time losing 3-0 to a side that we were expected to comfortably beat.

Morata, replacing Michy Batshuayi and leading the line, gave an impressive display.

He scored Chelsea`s first goal with a deft header, provided an assist for David Luiz to give Chelsea hope of getting a point out of the game, when it looked a lost cause, but, more importantly, he got the Stamford Bridge crowd buzzing again.

Against Tottenham, this Sunday, Morata is expected to start his first Premier League game for Chelsea.

The Chelsea support will be hoping that Morata gets on the score-sheet, if he does he will join an exclusive club of players who have scored in their first two Premier League games for the club.

As things stand at the moment, there are only three other players in this exclusive club.

The first to score in his first two Premier League games for Chelsea was Adrian Mutu with the Romanian doing so back in 2003, the second to do so wasDeco back in 2008 and the third was a certain Diego Costa who achieved the feat back in 2014.

Keep those fingers crossed that Morata becomes the fourth member of an exclusive club.
