Celtic Interested In Chelsea Centre-Back

|

As one of the numerous players who have been on our books for an age but who don’t appear to have a future at the club, Tomas Kalas could finally see himself moved on permanently, shortly.

The defender, now 25-years-of-age, has spent what seems like an eternity out on loan, having spent two seasons with Fulham and then this season with the Championship side, Bristol City.

However, according to the Scottish media source, the Daily Record, the reigning Scottish Premier League title holders, Celtic, are keen to sign the centre-back on a permanent deal.

With the two-window transfer ban set to become a reality, there is the prospect that several of those out on loan may indeed have long-term futures at Stamford Bridge, but I suspect Kalas will not be one of them.

Or as you might say, his ship has passed.
