This summer`s transfer window has seen Chelsea cash-in on the ‘kids` big time. The latest to exit the academy door is Nathaniel Chalobah, who is has left the football club to go to Watford FC.

However according to The Daily Mail Chalobah rejected a new contract at the Bridge and opted instead for a move to the Hornets and a better chance of 1st team football.

The deal is being muted, in our sourced story, as being worth £6million to Chelsea, this may of course include the possibility of a buyback clause.

This deal has come as a bit of a surprise, having featured heavily for England at under 21 level, the midfielder has always been seen as an exciting prospect for the blues. Last season saw him make 10 appearances for Chelsea.

Most notable of those was the clash at Manchester City, which saw Chalobah front up Sergio Aguero as the game finished with a melee of bookings and red cards. Chelsea ran out 3-1 winners.

But now he`s gone, all we can do at Vital Chelsea is to wish him the very best of luck and hope to see him back in a blue shirt at some point in the future.
