Lurking in the pages of a media vehicle is the clear inference that Chelsea are set to win the race to bring a talented teenager to the club.

The good folk of the Daily Mail are championing the inference that Chelsea have fought off a host of other clubs to almost clinch the signing of Jayden Braaf.

Braaf, just 15-years-of-age, is currently on the books of the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven and our referenced source is suggesting that the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and West Ham United were all interested in signing the young striker.

However, the sceptics amongst us will be wondering whether young Jayden Braaf will buck the Chelsea trend and become a regular, in years to come, at Stamford Bridge or join a very long line of youngsters who spend time out on loan before being moved on without making any real sort of impact for Chelsea Football Club.

Surely, one day, someone will buck that aforementioned trend!
