Lurking in the pages of a leading red-top publication is the suggestion that Real Madrid are set to sell Gareth Bale.
Furthermore, this red-top publication suggests that Chelsea Football Club could be one of the clubs interested in buying the Welsh forward.
The claim comes from the Mirror but before we all start talking about the possibility of the 28-year-old bringing that something extra special to our side, perhaps we should point out something of vital importance.
It seems that the only reason Real Madrid are preparing to sell the Welsh forward who during his time with the club has won the Champions League thrice, La Liga once and the Copa del Rey once, is because they`ve become frustrated with Bales` injury record.
The forward is currently side-lined with a calf injury which is expected to see the player ruled out until the New Year, at least.
Furthermore, the selling price is being quoted at a massive £85 million, a vast amount for somebody who has a history of injury problems.
My advice is Chelsea should leave well alone and let the other two clubs linked with a move for the player, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, run the risk.
