The last couple of decades have seen players from a multitude of countries pull on the famous shirt of Chelsea Football Club.

Most have proven to be excellent acquisitions, whilst several have gone on to become legends.

However, in those last couple of decades (and I may be wrong here so correct me if I am), I can`t recall a player from Poland playing for Chelsea.

That situation could well have changed recently with Chelsea, according to the news source the Express, showing an interest in Grzegorz Krychowia.

Krychowia, a 27-year-old midfielder, is currently on the books of Paris Saint-Germain, but it seems any hopes of a deal of the player moving to London, were ended when, according to our reference source, Chelsea pulled out of a deal as Paris Saint-Germain were too busy concentrating on the arrival of Neymar Jnr, in a world record transfer fee deal, from Barcelona.

Would Krychowia have proven a valuable addition to the squad?

I guess we`ll never know!
