Chelsea Set for Huge Double Juventus Raid

Walking into work and turning into the newsagents to pick up my copy of a leading UK tabloid, the back page immediately caught my attention.

Staring up at me from the back-page of The Sun was a headline that, kind of, grabs you by the balls.

It insinuates that Chelsea are set to do big business with Juventus, business so big that a sum of money of the magnitude of £100 million could be heading from Chelsea`s bank account to the bank account of the Turin club.

Speculation has been rife this summer (and as reported by us), Chelsea are interested in the Juventus duo of Alex Sandro and Leonardo Bonucci.

The inference today is that Juventus would be willing to part with their defender if a fee of £45 million were to be offered.

As for Sandro, it has already been widely reported that Juventus will release the player if he requests a move.

Our quoted source goes on to imply that Chelsea have increased their bid for the Brazilian to £55 million, an increase of £3 million on a deal that was, supposedly, rejected by the Serie A title holders.

Now whether the tabloid has nailed this one remains to be seen, but it certainly provides a discussion point for a Friday morning does it not!
