Yesterday, lurking in a respectable newspaper, was the suggestion that Antonio Conte has identified six new signings.
The suggestion, courtesy of the Independent, points out that Chelsea have identified six primary summer signings and have a budget of £200 million.
Furthermore, the reference source is of the opinion that one of those six potential signings is the 25-year-old Southampton defender, Virgil van Dijk.
There`s no doubting the squad needs some depth adding to it, the lacklustre defensive display against Watford, on Monday night, gave enough evidence of that.
