After reportedly making an offer of £10 million for Bayern Munich left back, Philipp Lahm, the proposed transfer could be about to gather momentum.
Despite suffering a rebuke from Bayern Munich, it`s now being suggested by a German source that it wouldn`t take a dramatic increase to get approval from Bayern Munich over the transfer.
Although Lahm has three years of his contract to run, Bayern apparently view the transfer as a way of freeing up further funds to strengthen their team after the loss of Michael Ballack to Chelsea.
Hopefully, Chelsea will seize the initiative and wrestle the exciting youngster from Munich.
