Tomas Kalas appears to have been one of those young players, at Chelsea, who has been on loan for ever.

The Czech centre-back, after a period on loan on the continent has had two loan spells in England, the first at Middlesbrough and the second, more latterly, at nearby Fulham.

However, that loan spell at Craven Cottage has now ended and the Czech international, now 24-years of age, is back at Chelsea once the close season ends.

But, according to the Evening Standard, Kalas might not be hanging around for much longer.

Our referenced source is reporting that the new Hull City boss, Leonid Slutsky, is looking to make Kalas his first signing.

Slutsky, being one of Roman Abramovich`s close associates, might just stand a good chance of getting his wish, if the price is right.
