Chelsea`s Transfer Policy A Disgrace

This transfer window for Chelsea has been nothing short of a disaster. For a club that are the current Champions of England to have performed so poorly and meekly is beyond belief. The club have become a laughing stock.

We know that the media and pundits don`t like us, and obviously opposing fans taunt us as being ‘plastic` and much worse. But now it`s becoming apparent that players actually hate us as well. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain didn`t want to join, preferring Liverpool. Everton`s Ross Barkley has, apparently, had the cheek to change his mind on a move in mid-medical, with everything else agreed. Fernando Llorente decided to join Tottenham.

As I sit typing this with just 5 minutes to go on a window that has been open for the best part of two months, there is no definite positive Chelsea news. We`ve been linked with a host of players, throughout, and delivered none.

Chelsea`s transfer policy is a disgrace, an embarrassment, and I`m sure certain members on this forum will feel vindicated having called it many times before.

It`s not about that those that haven`t been brought in though, it`s about those that have been allowed to leave the football club with no replacements in place. Nathan Ake, Nathaniel Chalobah, Dominic Solanke, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and worst of all Nemanja Matic have all gone. These are all players that could have impacted the first XI.

Marina Granovskaia, Michael Emanalo, and big boss Roman Abramovich have bought the club they are custodians of, for the real owners, the supporters, into disrepute. To leave Antonio Conte so short on player numbers for the current season, could see him stay on the Italian beach he`s currently on and text the oligarch his resignation. I wouldn`t blame him.

Is this Conte`s punishment for the whole Diego Costa text saga, that saw his value plummet as the world knew he was surplus to Chelsea`s requirements.

Danny Drinkwater and Davide Zappacosta look like they could still sign but I can write no more and I`ve cobbled this together, but I`m fuming.
