Good news greets us here in the UK on yet another sweltering day.
Sky Sports News are currently reporting on their twitter feed that all is well between Chelsea FC and Antonio Conte. Our source is Sky Sport Italia and a quick use of Google translate tells me Conte met up with Marina Granovskaia on Sunday. The meeting was very good between both parties and left Conte close to agreeing a contract extension.
The article states the Italian One`s contract could be worth upward of £9.5 million per season. Our source finishes by saying that Conte is currently in Turin and could meet up with Roman Abramovich later in the week to tie up the deal.
After a couple of weeks of unrest following on from the Diego Costa saga, it seems they may be some good news on the horizon. If that then results in some new signings then we`re back to happy days and can look forward to the new season.
