There`s no doubting that Antonio Conte is a class act.

Just one season in the Premier League and the 48-year-old Italian not only made his mark but propelled Chelsea to the Premier League title, after the club finished tenth the season before.

Conte currently has this season and next season left on his contract and whilst there`s no doubt the Chelsea faithful would like the Italian to nag around for a lot longer, it seems that might not be the case.

Lurking in the pages of the popular tabloid publication, Daily Star, Antonio confesses that a return to Italy is, one day on the cards, remarking,

“Italy is my homeland. I miss it, that is beyond doubt. Once I have had some good experiences, formative experiences, important and life-changing experiences, I`ll be back.

“I don`t know when but that`s the aim.”

Continuing, Antonio adds a few words about how he sees his future, further remarking,

“It`s always difficult to predict the future.

“Us managers have the most precarious job of all.

“Today you`re working, tomorrow you`re out.

“I want to succeed, to finish one project and make the right decision about the next.

“This experience has given me so much, has improved me so much, but perhaps in the future I won`t be a manager.

“Perhaps I`ll work as a director of football. I don`t know.”

Here at Vital Chelsea we`re sure that whatever Antonio chooses to do, some way down the line, he`ll be a success.
