The transfer window may be done and dusted in the UK, but around the world deals can still be done. The Turkish transfer window closes on Friday and it`s being mooted around the internet that Diego Costa may be off for a loan spell to Besiktas.
Costa who is currently in dispute with Chelsea and Antonio Conte is desperate to return to Atletico Madrid, as Talksport report. Likewise Madrid want to want their former ‘son` to return to the Spanish capital once their transfer ban is lifted in January.
Costa has been told by friends, that it`s in his best interests to return to London, something that he still stubbornly refuses to do. With the World Cup in Russia next summer, he needs to be fit and scoring competitive goals if he`s to stand any chance of making the trip with Spain.
It seems almost certain that he`ll end up back at Madrid in January, The Daily Star report that a Diego Simeone wanted assurances over Costa`s return before penning a new five year deal.
An interesting bit of tittle-tattle appeared in the The Sun suggesting Chelsea could try to get Antoine Griezmann in player plus cash deal. It would make sense with the amount of money Madrid appear willing to pay for Costa nowhere near matching Chelsea`s valuation.
Meanwhile back at Cobham, Costa`s swanky Range Rover car has been moved to the youth team car park and his locker has been cleared, that according to the The Express.
