Securing the Chelsea future of Thibaut Courtois is an absolute necessity.
World-class goalkeepers are scarce and Courtois is up there with the best of them.
But whilst talks started between the club and the player, it is being reported by the Daily Mail, that they are currently on hold.

With Chelsea set to bring several new players to the club, the suggestion is that Courtois wants to see who the club does sign and on what financial package.
The goalkeeper is also aware that the likes of Eden Hazard are set to be given a pay-rise and that Courtois wants his own worth to the side to be recognised.
Now we doubt that Courtois is after a move but that he just wants parity with others in the squad, which isn`t too much to ask for is it?
