We recently wrote an article relating to Chelsea`s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, the premise being that maybe it`s time the Belgian shot-stopper was moved on.
He`s given indices suggesting he`s going to sign a new contract with Chelsea, while at the same time expressing a desire to be elsewhere. It would appear he`s at again.
This time his teasing relates to a meeting he and his father have had with officials from PSG. According to The Evening Standard, Courtois` father Thierry was in London on Monday for a 2 hour meeting with the French clubs hierarchy. Courtois junior was also there.
It`s fair to say Chelsea fans are now a bit tired of Courtois` apparent desire to put himself above Chelsea FC. In a bit of a twist, it seems, part of his reasoning in wanting to move-on relates to wanting to play for a club capable of winning the Champions League.
Cheers Tibo, thanks for that, jog on then. Courtois` a decent keeper for sure, but he`s not irreplaceable. There are other keepers out there on the same level. Sign a new contract with Chelsea by all means, but let`s have a decision one way or another
