Amongst the plethora of CPO articles that we`ve run since the announcement last week, are several comments that I find intriguing.
Hidden amongst the many left by our readership, they kind of question why I would vote NO
Now let me clear up any confusion first.
I have nothing against change, although leaving Stamford Bridge would be a bitter pill to swallow it would be one that I`d, grudgingly, accept.
So why the NO vote you might be asking!
Well I`m of the opinion that those who hold shares should be given more of an involvement in running with the imminent suggestion of a move. The offer of season ticket privileges and their name on a scroll of honour at any new stadium, just isn`t good enough.
Also, knowing that from discussion to moving in, is a period that takes seven years, do they really expect us to swallow the 2020 pill relating to that three mile radius?
Furthermore, Stamford Bridge sits on some prime development land, a plot that would sell for far more than the £10 million our owner is offering in return for those shares.
So now you know!
