Chelsea have finally announced that Daniel Sturridge will be heading to Bolton on loan, a sure indication that the Torres deal will be going ahead within the next hour and a half.
An official club statement read: ‘Daniel Sturridge has this evening (Monday) joined Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season.
‘In total Sturridge has played 41 times for Chelsea, scoring nine times. We wish him well for the rest of the season.’
