It`s the morning after the night before and like so many I`m still trying to work out how Chelsea failed to take all three points at the Liberty Stadium yesterday afternoon.
Seemingly cruising at 1-0, three mad minutes saw Swansea emerge leading the encounter 2-1.
Thankfully, Chelsea had the testicular fortitude to mount a comeback and a superb goal from Diego Costa, with a spectacular bicycle kick, gave us a share of the spoils.
After the dust had died down on what was a feisty encounter, Cesar Azpilicueta gave his views on the game, with Dave remarking to the media,
‘It’s a huge disappointment because we had control of the game for most of the time. We came here to get three points and to go away with one is disappointing.
‘The second goal is a clear foul on Gary Cahill. The spirit of the team was very good. Diego Costa’s work is reflected in the game. When he is scoring goals we are doing the right things.’
We are, but this morning we can only rue so many missed chances that saw us drop our first two points of the 2016 / 2017 Premier League season.
