Sunday was not a good day for David Luiz was it!

In the final few minutes of the 0-0 draw, the Brazilian lost his cool and deservedly received a straight red card for a rash challenge on the Arsenal player Sead Kolasinac.

The offence means that David Luiz will miss the game tonight, against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup, as well as the Premier League fixtures against Stoke City (a) and Manchester City (h).

However, in what could be called a game of two-halves, it seems that when David Luiz, in almost the same spot he fouled Kolasinac, tumbled over a photographer he did himself an injury.

David Luiz appeared for the second half with his wrist bandaged, however, it turns out that the Brazilian suffered a small fracture in the aforementioned incident.

Currently, David Luiz is strolling around wearing a splint to support the fractured bone.

But the injury isn`t expected to keep him out of action once he`s served his three-game ban.

We wish David Luiz a speedy recovery.
