After another display, against Napoli, that confirmed Didier Drogba is the best of his type when his mindset is correct, our Ivorian striker has given the broadest hint yet that he wants to stay at Chelsea.

But, before we all start celebrating, he`s also pointed out that the final decision regarding his future is out of his hands with him remarking to the media,

“I will stay at Chelsea for as long as possible but I am now not the master of my own destiny.”

“I`m happy here, moments like Wednesday mean a lot. I hope there will be many more. A lot of people said this would be my last Champions League game but the adventure continues.”

“This was a Chelsea we had not seen for a long time.”

I`m sat firmly in the camp that believes Didier should be enticed to stay, unless we`re willing to enter the transfer market and purchase a striker who is world class and who hasn`t already peaked.
