Intrigued, then read on??????

Media speculation continues to infer that Antonio Conte`s reign as the man in charge at Chelsea will end come the completion of the 2017 / 2018 season.

The on-going speculation also continues to link the former Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique as the next incumbent of the Chelsea hot-seat.
However, if that is the scenario that is set to unfold this summer, there could be a problem to be overcome first.

The well-respected news source, The Telegraph is reporting that Luis Enrique would have to accept a significantly lower salary at Stamford Bridge than he received whilst in charge at the Nou Camp.

But, whilst we`re not able to divulge the difference in magnitude between the two pay-deals, perhaps Luis Enrique could console himself with the fact that history shows nobody lasts forever in the Chelsea role and if he can negotiate a decent deal, salary and length of contract wise, the pay-off, when the axe falls, will invariably set him up for life!

That`s the way the cookie crumbles at Chelsea isn`t it?
