Following Chelsea’s second consecutive away win last night, some of Chelsea’s players took to social media. Antonio Conte had put out a completely different team to the one most people expected, but it paid off.
The 2-1 victory over Burnley enabled Chelsea to creep up a little bit more on Tottenham, reducing the deficit to fourth place to just 5 points, with 4 games remaining. Next up for Chelsea, is the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton at Wembley.
+3 ✅

Alvaro Morata, whilst pleased, had other issues he wanted to get off his chest, following his substitution.
Three important points for us. The best way to get ready for Sunday’s game was winning today. I want to apologize for my reaction when I was sent to the bench, when I fail I get really angry with myself. pic.twitter.com/Vxg4eC7X3Q

To be fair to the Spaniard it’s what we all want to see from our players. A bit of passion and actually showing that you care. There’s nothing wrong with that. Something ex-pro and grumpy pundit, Rodney Marsh agreed with.
>Nothing wrong with a bit of anger son……

There was a lot of love for Motata from the Chelsea fans across the world as well.
Fair one Alvaro. Faith is still with you, it’s a matter of time before you’re banging them in with your eyes shut. Keep getting in those great positions and it’ll come.

At the end of the day it was all about the three points. Signs are the attitude is changing. Conte is resigned to his fate and the players know it’s all about the fans. It’s a bit late, but this is Chelsea under Roman Abramovich.
