News broke this afternoon that the thigh injury Frank Lampard picked up yesterday, in training, will keep him out of the Euro 2012 Finals.
Apparently, the medical staff couldn`t guarantee that Frank would be fit enough to take part in any of the group games so the decision was taken to rule him out.
Providing UEFA agree, Roy Hodgson will call up Liverpool`s Jordan Henderson as a replacement for Frank.
It`s tough luck for Frank and, no doubt, the rumours will start that this signals the end of his international career.
But, as so many have found out before, you write Frank off at your peril!
