Gallas as Resolute as Ever!

With the transfer window about to slam shut in a matter of days, Chelsea rebel William Gallas has re-iterated his desire to leave Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to the media Gallas has been quoted as saying,

“I`m still hopeful of being able to leave. I`m strong in my mind and looking at my future from day to day.”

Recalling a time at Marseille when William was unable to play for twelve months due to red tape, he remarked,

“I have already lived through that kind of situation and it does not bother me.”

Also, referring to his continued absence form the Chelsea squad, he retorted,

“This is not the kind of situation that is going to stop me keeping my morale and form. I`m ready to do what I have to do.”

Clearly despite attempts by Chelsea to persuade the talented French defender to stay, Gallas remains as intent as ever on leaving the reigning English champions.

However, with Chelsea`s interest in Ashley Cole waning and the remote chance of being included in some sort of swap deal, time is running out fro William.

Unless there is a last minute intervention from a leading Italian or Spanish club, there is every chance that William will be left anxiously waiting for the January transfer window to arrive.

If so, it would be a shame to see someone with so much ability sampling biding time and not participating in our season.
