After becoming a member of a very select band of Chelsea players, a band numbering ten, who have scored 100 goals for Chelsea Football Club, Eden Hazard spoke about going on to become a Chelsea legend.

The 27-year-old spoke about going on to be mentioned in the same breath as John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Many of us interpreted this comment as an indication that the Belgian international, who is by far the best player in the Premier League, was ready to tie himself to the club by signing a new contract.

However, according to the tabloid publication, the Sun, that is far from being the case.

Our referenced source is reporting that Eden is not prepared to enter into contract discussions until the summer.

Now, with that, apparently, being the case, it’ll no doubt that speculation will continue to link our jewel-in-the-crown with a move to Real Madrid.

I guess we’ll all have to just sit tight and wait and see, but, personally, I have no idea which way the pendulum will swing on this one, how about you?
