With international football, albeit of the friendly variety, still taking centre-stage, several of the Chelsea squad are away serving their country.

One of these is Eden Hazard who is on international duty with Belgium.

Speculation, relating to the future of the jewel-in-our-crown has been rife.

Talks, relating to a new deal, have not (yet), come to a successful conclusion, leaving the Chelsea faithful pondering over whether the player is set to leave Stamford Bridge.

Further fuel has been added to the fire courtesy of some remarks made by Hazard, whilst on international duty, comments which have been reported by the media source, The Guardian, as inferring Hazard has put a further delay on deciding where his future lies.

According to our source, Hazard is quoted as having remarked, when pushed on the subject matter,

“Look, I`m going to finish the season first, then play the World Cup and then I`ll leave on holiday.

“We`ll see what happens next. I haven`t thought about it yet; I have another two years` contract with Chelsea. I am very happy. I just think about the end of the season and the World Cup.”

Fingers crossed everyone, hopefully the ‘very happy` comment gives us hope that Hazard will remain in our part of West London.
