Once again, at the absurdly named Vitality Stadium, as Chelsea close in on another Premier League title, Eden Hazard showed that he is Chelsea`s jewel in the crown.
Every time the Belgian gets the ball there is an air of expectation and today, against Bournemouth, he showcased his skills and scored the goal that gave Chelsea an early 2-0 lead.
Following what was, eventually, a 3-1 win, Eden had this to say to the media, commenting on the fact that Spurs had won earlier in the day to reduce the gap at the top,
‘We passed a test. We knew the result of Tottenham before the game and today we deserved to win.
‘It’s more easy to control the game when you score first but at the end of the first half we were a little bit down. But in the second half we did well to control the game.
‘We have to believe in everything. Now is one step closer to the title and we have seven games left.’
Come on Eden, propel us to the title.
