If JT puts money above everything he has achieved at Chelsea since a youngster and realises that he will face the wrath of us Chelsea fans with a move to new-money City (who are ruining football), how would we cope without him?
Here’s the scenario:
Our once-beloved John Terry puts his own personal wealth above everything moral in football and decides to jump ship. We scoop £40million for him and fail to find a top-notch replacement. We do sign someone average, but not of the class of JT. Carvalho leaves, as is expected, and all of a sudden, we look light at the back.
How would we cope? Assuming our centre backs is a choice of Ivanovic, Alex, Mancienne and maybe one other (not JT standard) – where would we finish?!?!
AARRGGHHH!
