Is Kenedy’s Chelsea Future in Doubt?

|

That could quite possibly be the case!

Having returned home from the pre-season tour to the Far East in disgrace, Kenedy appeared to have gotten his Chelsea career back on track.

However, with appearances in the first-team limited, courtesy of a talented first-team squad ahead of him, the decision was taken to loan the 22-year-old Brazilian to a fellow Premier League side, Newcastle United.

Under the tutorship of Rafael Benitez, someone we at Chelsea know well through his short-term spell in charge of our cherished club, Kenedy has impressed.

Indeed, he has impressed so much that, according to one news source, the Kenedy wanted by quartet of clubs Newcastle are now interested in obtaining the services of the player on a permanent basis.

But, according to our source, the interest in Kenedy doesn’t stop there.

Our source also goes on to suggest that a trio of top European clubs, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur, are also interested in the versatile player.

Which begs us to ask the inevitable question:

If Kenedy is considered good enough for those four clubs, surely Chelsea should be fighting to hang on to the player and dismiss any interest out of hand, or is he set to join the growing list of players who pass through our books without establishing themselves on a permanent basis when it comes to the first team.

Your thoughts, in our comments facility, on the above subject would be most welcome.
