Okay, I copped for some flak yesterday running with an article inferring that I`m a little disappointed we`ve not snatched Paulinho from under the noses of Spurs.
Once again I must re-iterate it would have been purely to see their faces rather than for playing reasons.
Naturally, some of the flak was a little vociferous, as you`d expect from our North London rivals.
However, could the tale of the Corinthians player still have another twist?
This morning, with Carlo Ancelotti being unveiled as the new manager of Real Madrid, reports are emerging that Ancelotti has sanctioned a bid for the player who it was believed to be Spurs bound.
Could Spurs lose out again and to somebody with Chelsea connections?
