Ray Wilkins has shed some light on the injury scare for Didier Drogba against Spurs.
If we’re honest most of us though Drogba was angry that Bassong got to use the club’s stretcher equipment before he did. So whilst attempting to turn and shoot in one fluid movement, he went down clutching his leg.
Wilkins has spoken out by informing us that it was simply a case of cramp. ‘He had the most horrendous bout of cramp’, the coach stated whilst also confirming that Joey Cole and Yuri Zhirkov will be starting Wednesday’s game against QPR.
Its a huge relief for all Chelsea fans as their number one striker and quite possibly player of the season so far will be back terrorising defences in no time.
