Ahead of the fixture that will see the winners of the Premier League in the last two seasons go head-to-head, both managers spoke to the media.
At his pre-match press conference, held this lunchtime, Antonio Conte spoke about getting the team back to winning ways, in the Premier League, following the defeat at the hands to Spurs, with Antonio remarking,
‘We started January with a loss against Tottenham, which was a pity because I think the game was well balanced.
‘But now we have a tough game at Leicester and it’s important to restart a good run in the Premier League. We must play with great concentration.’
As for the Leicester City boss, somebody we all know well, Claudio Ranieri, he praised his former club, remarking,
‘Chelsea lost to Tottenham after 13 [consecutive wins] – amazing achievement. We expect a lot from them but we are ready to fight and win.
‘I expect a strong reaction from them. They are old champions and they want to make up for defeat.’
