This Sunday, Chelsea travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City, in a Premier League fixture.

The football pundits around the country are already sharpening their claws, believing that Chelsea will suffer a second successive Premier League defeat in the City of Manchester inside eight days, having lost to Manchester United last Sunday.

Oh, yea of little faith!

It`s in times of adversity, like this, that Chelsea respond and I`m optimistic that Chelsea can pull off a shock this Sunday, just like last season when after going a goal down Chelsea emerged 3-1 winners.

Who is to say lightning can`t strike twice!

Ahead of the trip to the north-west we have cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with our hosts and the champions elect 2017 / 2018, Manchester City;

Pep Guardiola has a few problems when it comes to selecting his starting eleven.

For starters, Fabian Delph is out suspended, with the player serving the last of a three-game ban.

Definitely out injured is Fernandinho, who has a calf injury.

Rated as doubtful are the duo of Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling.

However, we`re sure Pep Guardiola will compensate by dragging a few more of his expensive signings into the squad.

Continuing with Chelsea:

Antonio Conte will be without the services of the trio of Tiemoue Bakayko, Ethan Ampadu and David Luiz. The latter will have not-so-fond-memories of out trip to the Etihad Stadium where, late-on, he was subjected to a career-threating tackle from Sergio Aguero.

On a positive note, Ross Barkley, a January transfer window signing, is back in contention for a starting place after recovering from yet another hamstring injury.

Can Antonio Conte`s side pull off a shock win?

Of course, they can, just have confidence!
