It seems only a matter of time before Nemanja Matic becomes a Chelsea player again.
Numerous articles in numerous media sources infer that the 25 year-old is set to return to Stamford Bridge some three years after leaving SW6 as a £3 million makeweight in the deal that saw the Brazilian David Luiz join us.
Much is being made of the fact that Chelsea are prepared to pay such a big fee for a player they already ha don their books with some news sources trying to suppress any disappointment by pointing out that some cash is coming into the coffers via the imminent sale of Kevin De Bruyne to Wolfsburg.
However, whilst welcoming back Matic, I`ve a probing question to ask!
Is there any other club out there that has sold a player for £3 million only to buy him back, some three years later, for a fee said to be in excess of £20 million, or is it indicative of the way Chelsea Football Club operates?
