On the back of being charged, yet again, by the Football Association, following the events that occurred on Saturday, against West Ham, the media have gone into overdrive this morning with regards to the future of Jose Mourinho.
Starting with espn, it seems that this particular media vehicle is of the belief that Chelsea Football Club have already started to discuss the possibility of dismissing Mourinho but are, as we`ve pointed out, mindful of the cost, said to be approaching a cool £30 million, a consequence of Jose putting pen-to-paper on a new four year deal a matter of months ago,
Continuing with the Independent, they are of the opinion that Jose is already aware that his days at Stamford Bridge might be coming to an end and that the ‘Special One` has already enquired about continuing his career at either Paris St-Germain, or Inter Milan, if either club would be interested in his services.
But, intriguingly, another media vehicle, Sport es reckons that Mourinho is bound for a move to the principality with Monaco said to be his next destination.
Alternatively you could believe what those at goal.com are insinuating with this media source championing the suggestion that Mourinho`s position is at least safe until the next international break, in November, when Roman Abramovich will review the managers` position following the recent very public vote of confidence.
A very muddled picture I`d say!
