The festive season is almost upon us and the plethora of football that accompanies it will be most welcome.

Just days after suffering a home defeat at the hands of Leicester City, Chelsea make the short trip, on Boxing Day, to take on Watford, at Vicarage Road.

Last season, this was a fixture that saw Chelsea produce one of their poorest performances of the season, slipping to a defeat after Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent off in the first half.

This season, it is a fixture that Chelsea, after the shock defeat to Leicester City, must win, otherwise, there’s a real fear that in-form Arsenal will take that coveted fourth place off us.

Whilst Chelsea were slipping to defeat on Saturday, Watford continued their decent start to the season by winning away to West Ham, the Hornets will, in our opinion, provide Chelsea with a stern test.

Ahead of the game, we’re running our usual feature whereby we ask you to second guess the starting XI that Mauricio Sarri will select.

Will Sarri opt to stick with Hazard in the false number nine position?

Will the Italian continue to play N’Golo Kante out of position?

Just two questions to ponder over when you are trying to second guess just who’ll make Sarri’s starting eleven.

Simply drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see who gets it spot on.

Up the Chels!
