Really, Fabregas, really?

A shocking little cameo during the Stoke game told me all I need to know about Cesc Fabregas.

It came at the end of the game in one of Chelsea`s final attacks as the tubby Spaniard received the ball on the edge of the Stoke area and his first touch let him down.

The ball caromed off his foot back to the nearest Stoke player who turned and began to move off with the ball.

On the stream that I was watching the game, the co-commentator was former Chelsea and England stalwart Graham LeSaux. I don`t think I`ve ever heard a commentator at a game sound more outraged at a player`s lack of desire or effort as the gobsmacked LeSaux as Fabregas proceeded to trot nonchalantly on without so much as thought to chasing the Stoke player down.

You can tweet or post what you like, Mr. Fabregas, but you are not playing for the manager, the club, your teammates or anything except a paycheck.

Personally, I didn`t appreciate your über-arrogant behavior in last season`s final West Brom game when you were red-carded for kicking the ball at the referee`s head.

It`s an arrogance that I`ve detected in every single game you`ve ‘played` this season, with Arsenal fans applauding you as ‘Agent Fabregas`.

I`ve little doubt that when José watches the film of the game he will catch your revealing little moment today and act accordingly.
