Last night I had a troubled nights sleep.
I`d just watched Spurs grab a last-ditch win at West Ham, through a 90th minute goal from Gareth Bale. It was a goal that was celebrated by manic scenes with the Welshman running to the bench and embracing his manager, a certain Andre Villas-Boas.
Now, many will recall that it was about this time of the year that Andre Villas-Boas was shown the door at Chelsea Football Club, with someone decreeing that the PROJECT he`d been brought in to steer was faltering badly and action had to be taken.
But, with Rafa Benitez steering the good ship away from the top four and with Andre Villas-Boas staring down at his old charges, somebody please reassure me we didn`t make one huge mistake sacking him?
